AMD on TMJ4

We're thrilled to announce that we were recently featured on TMJ4 News. The news segment highlighted our long-awaited opening after years of debate and the impact we aim to have on the Sheboygan County community by providing accessible childcare for families of all abilities.

The news spot showcased our center's unique 24/7/365 service model, which will be implemented once every room is completed and staff are hired. A Million Dreamz will serve children, including those with special needs, from infancy to 17 years old, addressing the significant childcare shortage in the area. Sheboygan County was identified as a childcare desert, with at least three children on a waitlist for every available childcare slot.

Co-founder Angel Berry shared her personal experience of struggling to find adequate childcare for her own child with special needs, which inspired her to create A Million Dreamz. She emphasized the importance of offering high-quality care, adding that the center's priority is to provide a kind and nurturing environment for the children.

However, challenges remain as we still need to raise $800,000 to complete the building. With support from the community, our non-profit charity status will allow us to keep the cost of childcare under 20% of each family's income, making it more accessible to those in need. The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families confirmed that while there are dozens of 24-hour childcare centers in the state, none are located in Sheboygan County.

We're grateful to TMJ4 News for featuring our story and helping us raise awareness about the importance of accessible childcare in Sheboygan County. With continued support, we believe that our center can make a positive impact on countless families and children in the community.
